What Makes A Projector Practical These Days?

Sunday, July 20th, 2014

projectorI don’t care what type of technology you use or what you are into. We can all agree on something; we’re not going to go out of our way to purchase new tech devices unless we can see ourselves using them. There has to be a level of practicality to the devices that we use. We NEED to have a reason to buy it. There has to be something that the device offers that makes us want to buy it. It’s pretty easy to justify the purchase of laptops, tablets, computers, and even smartphones. We tend to use these devices every day. Some things that you may not think of in terms of practicality are projectors. They too have to be useful in more ways than one these days.

Is Your Projector Practical?

Obviously if you have a projector, you know that you’ve bought it for a reason. You want to make sure that you can view your images and videos on a larger display. If you have one at your office, you more than likely use it for business meetings to talk about projected sales and need it to make sure everyone can see the images in the meeting clearly. They all have the basic function, but there usually has to be a bit more to makes sure that consumers want to buy it. Even today, most business want a bit more from their projectors than just throwing the image on the closest wall. Does your projector do more than that? If not, you may want to look at other options just to see what you’ve been missing out on.

Internet Access and Hotspots

There’s a lot that could be considered useful when talking about projectors. All things considered could be the reason why you decide to purchase your projector. Yes, short-throw and 4K projection are all nice things, but they are very specific bonuses. What about the projectors that offer you more? There are projectors that offer you internet access and even access to apps. That’s right. There are projectors out there that you can watch Netflix and Hulu on right now. Obviously, this is more of a relaxed consumer benefit, but still a very nice practical addition to any projector. There is a ZTE projector that projects at 1080p but also doubles as a mobile hotspot thanks to Sprint. This projector is what I would call practical. Always having access to internet usage is something that EVERYONE can get behind. We are a society that has to stay connected nowadays. That’s just how we are now

It All Helps Make Your Decision Easier

Projectors cost money just like everything else. If you’re going to rent yours for some type of event, meeting, or convention, you’re going to want something that you can be proud of. You’re going to want to get your hands on the projector that is going to be just as practical as it is effective. Simply by looking at the extra features and seeing what would be beneficial to have could help make your decision making so much easier. Are you going to need the internet access and app usage? Are you going to need the mobile hotspot functionality? Perhaps you just need something that’s short-throw or ultra high resolution output. All of these factors are going to determine how practical your projector is/will be. It is all a matter of opinion, but just remember; ALL projectors project images, but they’re not all made the same.

I, just like everyone else, want my technology to be practical. When I think of a projector that is able to work and give me a mobile hotspot for internet access as well, I feel like I found a projector that is worth checking into. Practicality is key.
